the valve element is one of the most important parts for faucets, valves and other fluid control system components. Valve is a component which with direction control,pressure control or flow rate control by its interior turning.Each faucets’s switching control needs a valve,the quality of valve is the important evidence to assess the quality of the entire faucet,or you can think the most important thing to faucet is valve.

steel ball valve and ceramic valve is the common faucet valve.Steel ball valve is good at resist pressure, but the drawback is the seal rubber seals is easy to wear and tear.Compare to steel ball valve,ceramic valve has good better performance in heat-resisting wear-resisting,also ceramic valve have good sealing performanceso,so its lifetime is very long and with so much opening times,not easy to cause  CPVC Pipe water nozzle leaking for wear and tear of valve.The faucet with ceramic valve,hand feeling is more comfortable, smooth,open and close rapidly.we can not see the valve when we are buying faucet,but we can simply judged the quality of valve based on hand feeling when turning handle. Generally,without block sense,feeling slight,that may be a good valve,but not 100% sure.

There are three kinds of common valve core: stainless steel ball valve, ceramic valve and roll shaft valve. The common characteristic of these 3 valve is:the valve is integral,easy on installation maintenance and replacement.

The advantage of roll shaft valve is: handle rotation smooth, easy to operate,comfortable hand feeling, ageing resistance, resistance to wear. But as old-fashioned valve,it has been gradually can not meet the demand of people for valve,so will gradually eliminated by the market. Roll shaft valve core is very rare in common faucets.
